How to Wear Perfume
How to wear Perfume

Perfume The  proper appllication of scents begins with your morning shower. Always use a matching scented soap or one that is scentless, as deodorant soap can eradicate or weaken your fragrance.  Then apply layers of fragrance starting with lotion or cream, followed by dusting powder the eau de parfum, toilet water, or cologne.  Body creams, as opposed to lotions, have a nuch higher concentration of perfume oils and because of their cream base, will often oulast perfume.  In addition, their emolients are kind to the skin.

Perfume Remember, fragrance rises, so be sure to put some behind your knees as well as on your other favorite pulsse points - ear lobes, throat, bend in between your elbow, wrist, and between your breasts.  Do not rub perfume into the skin as the damages the perfume's molecular structure, and don't spray perfume in your hair unless it is freshly washed as the oils can change the nature of the fragrance.

Perfume  Fragrance should be applied in the morning , at lunch, in late afternoon, and before bed.  If your fragrance comes in a spray bottle, spray it 8 inches away from your body for proper dispersion.  When you use your fingers to apply perfume from a bottle with a stopper, you can limit contamination of the fluid by not osing the stopper as an applicator.   Contaminants from your skin can stay on the stopper and be introduced into the perfume where they can incubate.  Instead, use your fingers on the rim of the bottle.

Perfume Save your perfume for evening wear when you want a slightly stronger effect.  However, if you have dry skin or find you have to reapply your scent too often, consider using a bit of perfume during the day.  Apply your scent 10 to 15 minutse before a special occasion to give it time to settle down and mellow.

Perfume Do not spray scent directly on your clothes because perfume can stain fabrics and cling to them.  If you want to scent your clothes, mist undergarments or your nightie, and put dusting powder in your shoes.

PerfumeStore fragrance in na zip-seal bag when traveling.
