Colognes are the most concentrated and longest-lasting forms of men's fragrance.  They are meant to be used on the body rather than the face.

   Aftershave comes in two froms.  One features cooling, astringent qualities and is meant to heal small shaving nicks.  The other is a newer variety, sometimes called balm, and it's designed to moisturize and smooth the skin.  The scent in both varieties of aftershave is formulated to last only a short period of time. 

   Pre-shaves quicken the evaporation of moisture on the skin, stiffening the beard, and coating the skin so that an electric razor will perform more smoothly.  They are very lightly scented.  Some brands contain methanol, and all contain astringents which are helpful in preventing shaving rash. 

  Talcs are lightly scented powders which remove facial shine after shaving.  They also help tp prevent chafing amd collar rub.

  A few drops of fragrance sprinkled on your handkerchief every morning will add a refreshing lift to your day.

  Keep bars of soap in your sock drawer and sprinkle talc in your sneakers and gym bag.
